Q: How can I purchase tickets for Crescent Ballroom?
A: There are 3 ways to purchase tickets for shows at Crescent Ballroom.
• Advance tickets can be purchased through www.ticketfly.com, www.crescentphx.com or by phone at 1.877.4-FLY-TIX (877-435-9849).
• Stinkweeds – local record store located at 12 W. Camelback Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Stinkweeds accepts cash only for tickets.
• Tickets can also be purchased in person from the box office at The Van Buren (https://www.thevanburenphx.com/) from 3pm-6pm Monday-Friday. This Box Office is located on 4th Ave, just south of Van Buren St.
Please note – we are not obligated to honor tickets that aren’t printed from Crescent Ballroom box office or the Ticketfly website directly. Tickets purchased from a third party are at your own risk and do not guarantee entry. Lost, torn, tampered or altered wristbands will not be honored.
Q: I am having difficulty buying tickets online/I can’t find my email receipt/I haven’t received my tickets in the mail yet – what do I do?
A: All ticket concerns must be addressed at your point of sale – so if you purchased tickets online via Ticketfly, you must contact Ticketfly directly in order for any changes to be made. Please reach out to TicketFly Support here (http://support.ticketfly.com/) before calling Crescent. You may also send an email to email@example.com, please include your order confirmation number.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: All sales are final — The only exception being if a headlining act cancels, at which point refunds will be made through Ticketfly automatically. Otherwise, there are no refunds for tickets purchased from the Crescent Ballroom Box Office and any tickets purchased via Ticketfly, must be addressed with Ticketfly. In the event of the headlining act canceling, purchases made at Stinkweeds records will be refunded through Stinkweeds.
Q: What time does ticketing start at Crescent Ballroom?
A: Ticketing starts one hour prior to doors opening.
Q: What time should I get there?
A: As soon as possible! There are 2 times listed on your ticket – the first is the time the doors will open to the ballroom, the second time listed is when the first opening band will go on. Set times vary and typically are not announced till the day of the show. Please keep in mind that set times, as well as opening acts, are always subject to change. We strongly suggest checking our website for the most up to date times possible.
Cash, check or card?
Q: What type of payment does Crescent Ballroom accept?
A: The box office and bar accepts CASH, VISA, Master Card and American Express. The Merchandise counter typically only accepts CASH. ~NEW~ AN ATM IS LOCATED INSIDE THE BALLROOM.
Q: How old do you have to be to attend shows at Crescent Ballroom or Cocina 10?
A: Crescent Ballroom is a 21+ venue unless the underage guest is accompanied by a legal guardian. Some shows will be 16+ or 18+, but they will be indicated as such upon purchase. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to attend shows at Crescent Ballroom. Cocina 10 welcomes all ages until 9pm, upon which we are a 21+ venue and anyone under the age of 21 will be required to leave.
Q: Do I need ID to enter the venue?
A: An ID is only required if you plan on drinking alcohol. Because we are a venue that serves liquor we take checking ID’s very seriously. In compliance with Arizona State Laws, anyone 21 and older who plans on drinking alcohol will have to show a valid, non-expired, government issued photo ID, regardless of how young you look!
Anyone without proper ID, regardless of age, will be treated as under 21 and not allowed to buy, hold or drink alcohol. This policy is strictly enforced and any violation will result in immediate ejection from the venue.
Effective July 24, 2014, Arizona liquor laws changed regarding acceptable forms of identification to access alcohol. You are required to obtain a new ID within 30 days of your 21st birthday as your vertical ID will not be valid for alcohol purchase, or entry into the 21+ areas of Crescent Ballroom.
Q: Do you allow in and out privileges?
A: Patrons over the age of 21, may leave the venue and come back. Concert patrons under the age of 21 are not allowed re-entry – once you’re in, you aren’t allowed in and out privileges, not even to go to your car. We can’t allow you to do it, so please don’t ask us to let you!
Q: Do you allow outside food or beverage?
A: NO, and you will be asked to it throw it away prior to entry.
Planes, trains and automobiles
Q: Where is Crescent Ballroom/Cocina 10 located?
A: 308 N 2nd Ave, Phoenix AZ 85003. North of Sun Devil Auto on the Northwest corners of Van Buren and 2nd Ave.
Q: Is there parking?
A: There is limited meter parking on 2nd and 3rd Ave’s, as well as a pay lot on the north side of Van Buren between 2nd and 3rd Ave’s in addition to another lot found south of Van Buren on 2nd Ave. We do not offer validation for parking at parking garages and the parking structures near us close at 6pm.
Q: Is there a light rail station nearby?
A: There is! Right around the corner on Van Buren and 1st Ave for Eastbound trains and Van Buren and Central for Westbound trains. Cabs are also in a good habit of visiting us, particularly on the weekends!
Q: Is there seating at Crescent Ballroom?
A: Unless otherwise indicated, shows at Crescent Ballroom are standing room only. We do offer limited bleacher style seating at the back of the venue, but those fill quickly once doors open and are available on a first come, first served basis. On occasion, we have seated shows where you may buy a specific seat at the venue, but that is indicated upon purchase on a show by show basis. Patrons with special needs should call in advance to make arrangements.
Q: How exactly does the under-age section work?
A: Due to Arizona state law our all-ages shows must include a barrier between our under-age guests and those 21+ whom have access to being served alcohol Incidentally, this is also why we request that our underage guests use the West entrance (only open those under 21 on show nights) after redeeming their wristband, rather than to pass through the Lounge area.
Q: I heard I can come into the lounge and eat and drink, does that mean I can go into the ballroom while a show is going on as well?
A: The lounge is always open and free to the public as long as we are within capacity requirements. We encourage you to hang out for shows in the lounge, but if you have not purchased a ticket to the show, you may not go into the ballroom.
Q: I think I left my card at Crescent last night, what happened to it?
A: All leftover cards with open tabs will be closed at the end of the night and a 20% service gratuity will be added. These cards are left in the Cocina 10 lounge for 2 weeks and then destroyed.
Q: Do you have a dress code?
A: Smart footwear is strongly encouraged as this is a music venue with many moving parts, otherwise, come as you may!
Q: Do you allow bags or backpacks in the ballroom?
A: No, we do not. We do not offer storage for bags and large handbags will be searched.
Q: What is the capacity at Crescent Ballroom?
A: We can comfortably accommodate roughly 500 guests in the ballroom.
Q: Is Crescent Ballroom handicapped accessible?
A: Yes, we are handicapped accessible. Notify a member of Security upon arrival if you require early entry or seating assistance.
Q: Do you have a lost and found?
A: Yes, we do. If you lose your wallet or phone, it will be left in the Security stand. All other physical items will be held in the office for 2 weeks, then it will be donated.
Q: Can I smoke in the club?
A: No. Arizona has an indoor smoking ban, however the lounge patio has ashtrays for smoking. The north patio is smoke free until 9pm.
Q: Are firearms allowed in the club?
A: No. Firearms are never allowed in Crescent Ballroom. Pusuant to A.R.S. § 4-229
Q: Does Crescent Ballroom offer food?
A: Yes, our restaurant, Cocina 10, offers a playful Mexican menu including burritos, nachos, street tacos, salads and one of the best burgers you’ve ever tasted! The kitchen is open from 11am until midnight Monday-Friday, and 5pm-midnight Saturday-Sunday. Please click here to view our full menu.
Q: Is your kitchen’s menu vegetarian/vegan friendly?
A: As a matter of fact, yes! We have several meatless options, along with a good number of gluten-free and/or dairy-free choices. Of course, when possible we are happy alter your dish to accommodate any food allergies/preferences provided you carefully disclose this information prior to placing your order with your server.
Q: How about drinks?
A: We offer a full service bar and table service in our lounge, Cocina 10, as well as a full service bar in the Ballroom for full shows with a limited food menu available. Both bars offer a non-alcoholic and gluten free beer option.
Q: Does Crescent Ballroom take reservations?
A: We offer reservations for groups of 8 or more, Monday through Friday from 11am-5pm on a limited basis and upon Management discretion. Reservation requests can be made by calling us directly at 602-716-2222 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Do you offer bar/food specials?
A: We do! Happy Hour is available Monday 11am-6pm and Tuesday-Thursday 3-6pm, we offer discounts on select drinks and food. Please click here to view our happy hour menu.
Q: Do you offer gift cards?
A: Indeed we do and they can be purchased at Cocina 10, Monday through Friday from 11am to 5pm. Gift cards are not valid for show ticket purchase.

Q: The website shows sold out, is it really?
A: Yes, it really is. You are welcome to come hang out in the lounge where the show is being played via the speakers, but it is unlikely any tickets will be released at the door.

Q: What are your policies regarding photo/video/audio?
A: Recording policies are at the bands discretion and change night to night, but our house policy is no professional equipment allowed unless authorized by the band or tour, within the first 3 songs and no flash. You may bring your camera with the understanding that you might need to take it back to your car.
Video and audio recording are not allowed.
Q: How do I get a photo or media pass?
A: All requests for media/photo passes must go through the artist/band’s publicist or label directly. Crescent Ballroom cannot offer media/photo passes. Only media/photo passes that have been submitted by the band will be honored.
Q: Do you rent out the ballroom for events?
A: Crescent Ballroom’s primary focus is to bring great local and national musicians to the people of Phoenix and surrounding areas, but we do open our doors to all sorts of events. We have charitable organizations, political gatherings, hosted burlesque shows, fashion shows, corporate meetings, birthdays, awards ceremonies and more!
