Artists

The Funky Latina Music Festival

Elyssa Bustamante AKA “The Funky Latina” is an Event Producer, Host and DJ based in Phoenix. In 2022, she founded the Funky Latina Music Festival — an annual event showcasing Latin indie artists. She has hosted a variety of events, including: the pop-up concert series "Joy to the Polls," the Latina-owned "Mujeres Mercado," ASU’s “Movies on the Field," and countless live performances across the Valley of the Sun.
Elyssa is a music maven. She has curated playlists for brands such as Buchanan’s and Shop Latinx and has written music articles for Remezcla. Currently, she hosts a live Instagram talk show called, “Let’s Hear It” – offering her music expertise and chatting with emerging Latinx artists. In 2021, Elyssa was featured by The Arizona Republic as a “Latino Influencer to Follow.”

Vortxz

Vortxz is an indie bilingual rock band from Houston. The band consists of Isaias “Rambo” Rodarte (lead singer/songwriter), Noe Rodriguez (lead guitar/producer), Luar Quintanilla (bass), and Jon Lopez (drums). Vortxz blends the influences of The Strokes with Rock en Español to create a new-age alternative rock sound for the next generation.

Introverted Funk

Introverted Funk, based in Los Angeles, blends R&B, disco and house music to create a sound that is uniquely their own. The band consists of singer/songwriter, Veronica Rosa, and producer/multi-instrumentalist, Daniel Valle. If you're a fan of Daft Punk's infectious beats and the soulful sounds of Teena Marie, you won't want to miss them.

The New Royals

The New Royals, hailing from the scorching heat of Phoenix, consist of three brothers: Jake Moran on lead vocals, Jesse Moran on guitar, and Dylan Moran on bass. The band of brothers combines rock, pop, and electronic music to create a fiery sound for their high-energy shows.
