Laurie Notaro is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the novels Crossing the Horizon, Spooky Little Girl, and There’s a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to Hell, as well as essay collections and numerous works of celebrated nonfiction including The Idiot Girls’ Action-Adventure Club: True Tales from a Magnificent and Clumsy Life and Excuse Me While I Disappear: Tales of Midlife Mayhem. A finalist for the Thurber Prize, Laurie was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she was a reporter for The Arizona Republic and lived several streets away from the murder house. She now resides in Eugene, Oregon.
