October 2021 saw Joy release her long awaited debut LP ‘SKIN’. A collection of songs built and honed throughout her adolescence and into her early twenties, and finessed last year within the most turbulent of circumstances. 'Skin' has been hailed by critics as 'masterful', 'timeless' and 'stunning'. The debut achieved a top 5 spot in the Official UK Chart and number 1 in the Official Record Store Chart. Crookes toured the record to 10k + fans around the UK and went on to finish the year with two BRIT nominations.
