Local First Arizona Presents an Artist Showcase of EPIC proportions:
CLASH OF THE TIGHTANS!
feat. WYVES + WEIRD RADICALS + PRETTY THINGS + TOSO
Rock is very much alive in PHOENIX, and these bands are here to show you just how good it's living... Plenty of sunlight and abundant nutrients are making our music community grow and thrive and spread out in all directions. Check out this swath of rocking bands cut from the cloth that made bands like Alice Cooper, JFA, Meat Puppets, The Tubes & so much more #PHXROCK!!
Formed in the early parts of 2015, the band Wyves have been hard at work creating and crafting their signature brand of Rock & Roll. Their debut album, “Spoils Of War”, is 11 tracks that came from six months of writing sessions. It is an album that is both modern and classic in quality and conviction with great hooks and well thought out lyrics. "Spoils Of War" was released in February of 2016 to a Sold Out Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, Arizona. It was also released across all online outlets, where it continues to spread and reach new ears. Phoenix New Times named Corey Gloden the Male Vocalist of the year as well as "Spoils Of War" the #1 song of 2016.
Wyves have shared the stage at festivals and as direct support with acts such as: Beck, Gary Clark Jr, Kid Cudi, The Avett Brothers, Juliette Lewis and Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas. In previous projects they have shared the stage and toured with acts such as: Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Kid Rock, Cheap Trick, Peter Frampton, Rival Sons and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros (to name a few). Between the four members of Wyves there has been a lot of knowledge gained and miles traveled for such a young and upcoming Rock band. This band is the culmination of experience and a driving passion to create this music. Wyves are truly where they want to be and this is the music they want to share. If you have ever been to a Wyves show you'd be hard pressed to shoot that statement down.
