Spawned in Germany during 1984, KMFDM pioneered the crossover between techno/dance and heavy metal with their signature industrial sound. Moving to Chicago in the mid-80s KMFDM was the pride of Wax Trax Records during the label's peak. Rapidly evolving year by year through intense experimentation and touring; the band has redefined themselves with each new release.

Venturing on to dabble in side projects and then re-establish KMFDM in Seattle during 1999 Sascha's revolving band of misfits stood the test of time. Currently helmed by the dual vocal attack of the band's founder Sascha and siren Lucia KMFDM celebrated 20 years of musical excellence by traveling performing 62 shows in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. To quote themselves, "The future belongs to those of us still willing to get our hands dirty". Living by their D.I.Y. philosophy, KMFDM has launched their own online store, KMFDM Store and record label, (KMFDM Records). In 2005 they embarked on a World Tour of 18 countries in support of their full length CD Hau Ruck. The band has just released a new EP titled Ruck Zuck, through Metropolis Records/KMFDM Records. The self-proclaimed fathers of industrial-rock show no signs of stopping.
"[Eight] years and three albums into their career, Legion Within are a steadily rising force in the arena of modern music, complete with the KMFDM seal of approval."
~ ReGen Magazine.

Founded in 2000 by songwriter and vocalist William Wilson, Legion Within has weathered a few band-member changes. The line-up for Mouth of Madness, Wilson (vocals, guitar), Shannon Cole (guitars), Erica Butler-Branch (bass), Aaron Nicholes (percussion) and Jasyn Byrum (synth), is their strongest yet.

Wilson’s romantic tenor vocals have been compared to David Bowie and Peter Murphy, while his minimalist and ebo-laden guitar style has drawn more consistent comparisons to Daniel Ash. Cole has been with Legion Within from its inception. His echoing “whale sounds” guitar style is evidence of his Pink Floyd and King Crimson influences. Long-time member Butler-Branch has been writing with Wilson for seven years. She’s been performing music since five years old, is a multi-instrumentalist (including clarinet and drums) and has played bass in punk, goth and prog bands. Recent additions Nicholes and Byrum create a hard-hitting, electronic and industrial base on which to build. Their modern foundation supports the darkwave soundscapes that Wilson, Cole and Butler construct.

Legion Within have shared the stage with many great artists including KMFDM, Nitzer Ebb, Peter Murphy, Voltaire, and Collide.

Mouth of Madness:
Their first formal release thru KMFDM Records, Mouth of Madness displays Legion Within as a mature band who have blended darkwave and industrial into their own distinctive genre of dark rock.

Crafting Mouth of Madness over two years was an arduous process. Written throughout a time when band member’s lives were rife with personal tragedy and upheaval, disquiet lays heavy within the music. The songs range from romance, escapism, and tragedy to tongue-in-cheek dark humor and flights of sadistic fancy.

Bouncing back from the industrial political-angst of 07’s the empty men, Mouth of Madness embraces the current political and emotional climate with a firm hand. William Wilson calls it, “Courageous Nihilism. From day one we are all doomed. But that's just the way it is, we deal with it."
CHANT is the mad-scientist driven…tribal-drum-infused… explosive industrial show from Austin, TX that has spent the last few years touring the US, leaving a trail of smashed up drums, trash cans, and satellite dishes in the dust.

Drummer and performance artist Bradley Bills created CHANT while drawing on influences of excess and mayhem – mixing world music and street percussion with industrial electro-synth sound designs – presenting a display of self-abuse and punishing drumming that caught the attention of The Butthole Surfer’s Jeffery D. Pinkus and Pigface ring leader Martin Atkins immediately! Both collisions led to an inventive CD/DVD demo release ‘CHANT:Beginnings’ (Pinkus) and a very ambitious, independently released debut album ‘That Which Divides’ (Atkins).

Since inception in 2004, CHANT has supported Pigface, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, KMFDM, Combichrist, The Genitorturers, Angelspit, Black Light Burns, God Module, & Ego Likeness, has contributed to the Pigface album “6″, supplied drum programming for Curse Mackey’s (Evil Mothers) score to the Tabula Rasa video game soundtrack, and landed slots on the side stages of the New Orleans Voodoo Music Festival in 2007 & 2008!

For CHANT’s new album “Strong Words For Strong People”, Bradley teamed up with Chris Telkes (Nocture/The Razorblade Dolls) and produced a record full of pummeling militant beats, eerie dissonance, and relentless grooves. With drumming originating from a washing machine, garage door, and high powered grinders – SWFSP takes the listener through a heart pounding barrage of well crafted noise and addictive hooks, illustrated by the hand screened posters and custom art packaging that is incorporated into each copy.
